Great fast food with generous portions. Parking is good and service is really friendly.

Love this place. The guy who makes the food has a great attitude and really makes the whole experience better. My friend who doesn't eat shawarma said that if he did eat shawarma this is the place he would want to go. Keep in mind that the servings here are huge so if you normally order large go with a medium wrap.

I was very disappointed. I have been there before and the food was so much better. First, we bought 3x med sandwiches and small potato and water and cost me $41.95! That’s insanely expensive. As I was eating, the chicken in my sandwich was fat and crunchy. Grossed me out and didn’t finish it. Very disappointed. Won’t be returning.

Food was okay. microwaved potatoes and rice and the chicken was burnt. Lone bright spot was the hummus and garlic sauce.

Idk how this place is still open I mean it's the worst shawarma I've ever had in my life my first time there and its gonna be ma last time there and on top of that it cost me 20dollars for a platter that I throw away...not recommended at all!!

I've been to a lot of Lebanese restaurants both in Montreal and Ottawa and I gotta say this is probably one of the BEST !!! For 20 dollars you get a huge plate and a drink. Not one thing on that plate will go to waste. Highly recommend everyone to try this place out when you're in the area! Looking forward to return soon !

Worst Shawarma restaurant I’ve ever been to. I don’t even know how it’s possible for a shawarma to taste BAD but it did. I ordered a medium shawarma but it may as well have been a shawarma for King Kong.... the sizing is horrendous! A small is too small but fir some reason a medium and a large are beyond huge. Its a waste. Their garlic sauce is very liquid and Has no flavour what so ever. How is that even possible!? I made a huge mess the minute I got into my car because the shawarma had so much liquid it seeped through The brown bag I was given. The hummus tastes like its expired or gone bad. The pickled turnip is rock hard everytime and the pickles taste horrible as well. On a separate occasion, I asked for sweet sauce but was given sesame sauce. Very disappointing. Ive come here 5 times now hoping it would be different each time.The best shawarma restaurant is in Orleans on Tenth Line! Maybe Alissar could learn something from The King Shawarma!

Regular shawarma. Nothing special, but still better than chain fast foods around. $8 for chicken Shawarma + pop. I went at Saturday lunch time and the was only chicken - the small amount of beef on the "shawarma machine" were really dark.

Hands down one of the worst shawarma spots in the city. I dont know what has happened to this place as it has been around for a long time and used to be really good. The last time I was there the chicken was so hard it crunched. The service is good when the boss is there other than that its brutal. Definitely will not be going back.

Absolutely the worst shawarma restaurant I have ever been to. The chicken was mostly fat and had tons of cartilage. The garlic and hummus is watery and runny. The pickled turnips are always hard. I have given this place more than 4 visits because i figured sometimes you can be having an off day...but its been the same every time. The owner is very kind but unfortunately the food is just not great.

Not a clean restaurant. Was alot of dark meat in the chicken and fat. But the cleanliness was the real turn off.

I went here today being very disappointed. First off the prices were really expensive for the quality. We ordered a mixed shawarma and the beef was disgusting. It was at the end of it and instead of changing it we got old meat that had to be warmed in the microwave.... very dry and disgusting. I hate to leave bad reviews but I won’t be coming here again.

Best chicken shawarma in Ottawa ! I go to this place at least twice a week. I’ve tried everything on the menu. Everything is excellent ! The service is excellent and the food is consistently good ! Good prices ! If you love garlic, come to this place ! A must try restaurant ! Good family restaurant !

Donaire sandwich and their potatoes were the best I've ever had

I love Mediterranean food and eat it any chance I get. This is one of the best places I’ve been to. The potatoes were garlicky and crispy. The shawarma was great, as was the falafel and kabob. Their salads and toppings were fresh and had great flavor. We are only here to visit family, which is unfortunate because I would go every week if I could!!!
